Seed funding-As the name suggests seed it is the earliest investment which is needed in the startup. In order to implement the idea one has for startup they have to get legal status advice, resources, manpower and a place to set up the business few of us get the money from relatives or friends or some of us have our own money,or some of us get it from investors, so this is all the initial stage of investment which we need to start the operations.
Given are the few ways of seed funding for startups in India:-
Astarc Ventures- They invest in India, US, UK, Israel based startup companies. Their investment amount is 35 lakhs to 7 crore and the investment period is 5 to 7 years.
WaterBridge Ventures- An investor that has cut some of the earliest checks in startups such as edtech firms Unacademy and Doubtnut, and Canadian online pharmacy PocketPills, has launchedFast Forward, a program with a committed $10 million from its second fund to finance. It has invested in India amidst COVID19.
Idea2PoC- Government of Karnataka provides funding to the startups under the scheme ‘Idea2PoC’ of Startup Policy of Karnataka 2015-20.
Bihar state government initiative- A seed grant of up to Rs. 10 lakh per startup as an interest free loan will be given to Startups by the State Government for a period of 10 years.
Unicorn India Ventures- They are an early stage technology focused Indian registered venture fund. They invest in and partner with dedicated entrepreneurs looking to build world-class market-leading companies by disrupting traditional sectors or solving real life problems for end-users or enterprises using innovative technology-led products or services.
